D-Award is the gala where we celebrate the culmination of D-Congress and honor the trailblazers of digital commerce in Sweden.
D-Award gala dinner: The perfect finale to D-Congress
The D-Award gala dinner is where 1,200 leaders driving the transformation of the retail industry come together to celebrate the heroes of Swedish e-commerce. This prestigious evening is not only a recognition of excellence in digital commerce but also an opportunity to network and enjoy a festive conclusion to the two incredible days of D-Congress. Meet this year’s speakers, exhibitors, and notable participants from D-Congress 2025 in a relaxed and enjoyable setting.
The evening will feature the presentation of awards for the year’s best e-commerce company and leading supplier, honoring their significant contributions to the industry. The night will culminate with an exclusive concert by a celebrated Swedish artist, continuing the tradition of outstanding performances—past years have featured Johnossi (2024), Familjen (2023), and Seinabo Sey (2022). The festivities will then move on to the After Party, sponsored by Adyen.
Svensk Handel’s CxO network, comprising influential leaders driving retail transformation, is also invited to join the dinner. A limited number of tickets for sale for the gala dinner, available for retailers and brands, will be released on this site on December 2. Partner tickets for sale will be available on the partner site at the end of November.
D-Award: celebrating excellence in Swedish digital commerce
The D-Award is the most prestigious recognition in Swedish e-commerce, celebrating companies that break new ground, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and put Swedish e-commerce on the international map. This distinguished award is presented during a gala in conjunction with D-Congress.
Now in its seventh year, the D-Award is presented by Svensk Handel to the leading e-commerce company in Sweden. A jury of renowned experts in Swedish e-commerce selects three finalists, from which one winner is announced at D-Congress. Additionally, the D-Award for Suppliers is unveiled during the awards gala dinner at D-Congress, March 6, 2025.
Past winners of the D-Award for E-commerce include RevolutionRace (2019), Skincity (2020), Caia Cosmetics (2021), Inet (2022), LYKO (2023), and Djerf Avenue (2024).
The D-Award for Suppliers was awarded to Swish in 2024, with previous winners including Adyen (2023) and Instabee (2022). At D-Congress 2024, a special award, the D-Award Impact Innovator of the Year, was presented to Houdini Sportswear.
The three nominated companies for the D-Award E-Commerce 2025 will be announced in December 2024.
